I work mainly in moral, political, and legal philosophy, with a special interest in areas of international concern and issues relating to race or gender.
About me: Before coming to Northeastern, I was an Associate Prof. at the University of Colorado, Boulder. I have held fellowships and visiting positions at the University of Chicago Law School, Harvard University, the University of Toronto, and the Université catholique de Louvain. I have a BA in philosophy, politics, and economics from Merton College, Oxford and a PhD in philosophy from MIT.
I grew up mainly in Jacksonville, FL, in the USA and in Cardiff, which is the capital of Wales, in the UK. My father is from Trinidad and Tobago and my mother is from the Republic of Ireland.
